AI Creator

Units Earned: 2

Time Commitment: 3.5 hours per month (includes 1 hour of live, synchronous learning)

Create with Confidence: This tier puts you far ahead of the average educator. By mastering the foundational AI skills, you’ll become a creator, shaping innovative classroom experiences through AI.


Outcome: Learn how to integrate AI into your teaching, using it as a tool to extend your creative capabilities and make an immediate impact on student engagement.


 • Cost: $79 per unit (UC San Diego fee, $158 total), paid to UCSD in addition to the monthly CUE fee. This fee applies if you want to earn the units.


Tier 2:
AI Innovator

Units Earned: 4

Time Commitment: 6.25 hours per month (includes 1 hour of live, synchronous learning)

Innovate for Impact: Move beyond creation to innovation. In this tier, you’ll apply AI in practical, transformative ways that redefine your classroom and empower your students.

Outcome: Lead innovation in your school by integrating AI to streamline tasks, personalize learning, and design groundbreaking educational experiences.

 • Cost: $79 per unit (UC San Diego fee, $316 total), paid to UCSD in addition to the monthly CUE fee. This fee only applies if you want the units.


Tier 3:
AI Visionary

Units Earned: 8

Time Commitment: 12.5 hours per month (includes 1 hour of live, synchronous learning)

Visionary Leadership: This final tier prepares you to lead AI-driven transformation at scale. As a visionary, you’ll design and implement strategies that shape the future of education in your school or district.


Outcome: Master the role of a forward-thinking AI leader, creating a long-term AI strategy that positions you at the forefront of educational innovation.

 • Cost: $85 per unit (UC San Diego fee, $632 total), paid to UCSD in addition to the monthly CUE fee. This fee applies if you want to earn the units.

At this tier participants have the option to earn certification for the course through UCSD for an additional $45.
